Job Description

Provides immediate supervision to a unit of employees. Sets and delegates day-to-day tasks to achieve operational objectives. A portion of time may be spent performing individual tasks related to the unit; however supervisory activities must constitute a primary part of the job. Supervises unit operations to ensure compliance with divisional and Agency policies procedures and defined internal controls. Problems typically involve a single area process or group. Ensures accountability and stewardship of Agency resources (operational financial and human) in compliance with divisional standards and procedures.

  • Coordinate a workflow with foreclosure and later default for accounts nearing the beginning of the foreclosure process.
  • Maintain a system for identifying accounts that should be referred to foreclosure.
  • Answer questions from staff related to foreclosure and later default.
  • Communicate with external attorneys on escalations regarding a borrowers account status through the online portal called LoanSphere Bankruptcy/Foreclosure.
  • Review and verify accuracy of prepared foreclosure complaints. Track the complaints through to filing to ensure the FHA First Legal Deadline is met.
  • Request extensions and variances from FHA related to the First Legal Deadline.
  • Review audit queue in the Invoicing system to ensure staff are reviewing invoices accurately and approving or rebutting timely.
  • Handle escalated borrower conversations.
  • Review reports to ensure the monthly default reporting to FHA is accurate.
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager.
