Your role
As a Senior Project Manager you will play a key role in driving complex and strategically important customer support projects in the Airborne Early Warning (AEW) domain airborne radar. You will be part of the project management office an experienced and diverse team that needs new colleagues to handle our growing business.
As a Project Manager focusing on customer support and upgrades your role will vary based on your background and our business priorities. You may lead a project that involves developing and implementing support solutions for existing contracts or manage large-scale customer upgrade projects that require coordination between various departments.
In either scenario you will oversee the entire project lifecyclefrom initial planning and execution to stakeholder alignment and successful deliveryensuring that scope timeline cost and quality targets are met. You will collaborate cross-functionally with teams in engineering product management operations and customer support and provide regular updates to senior management on progress risks and key milestones. Your ability to build trust manage complexity and navigate uncertainty will be crucial to your success. Most of our project activities take place in Kallebäck Gothenburg where we design produce integrate verify and support our solutions. With that said the majority of our customers are situated abroad which means that some international (and also national) travel is part of the job.
Your profile
We are looking for an experienced and driven project manager who thrives in dynamic cross-functional environments. You bring a strong track record of leading complex projects in technology-driven industries preferably with a mix of product development and customer delivery. Experience in managing customer support for systems-based products throughout their lifecycle is a strong advantage. This includes proficiency in handling support requests troubleshooting issues and coordinating with relevant teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve problems efficiently.
You combine strategic thinking with operational execution and you are comfortable managing stakeholders at all levels. You are structured and analytical yet pragmatic and adaptable when conditions change.
To succeed in this role you likely have:
A university degree in engineering science or relevant field
7 years of project management experience including leading cross-functional teams
Solid understanding of both agile and traditional project methodologies
Experience managing budgets resources and external partners
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Fluency in English (other languages are a plus)
Certification such as PMP PPS or other relevant certification is a merit but not a requirement. Above all we value a collaborative mindset accountability and a passion for delivering value through well-executed projects.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
