Job Summary
As aSenior SDET Data (17862)you willbe responsible fordesigning developing andmaintaininghigh-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projectsmentoringjunior engineers and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead end-to-end dbt testing by creating mocked and expected datasets across bronze silver and gold layers.
- Analyze engineering and analytics requirements to define testing scope strategy and coverage for each sprint.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and data teams to understand testing needs and ensure clear communication of priorities within the scrum team.
Qualifications and Skills
- 7 years of experience in Quality Engineering roles with a solid understanding of testing strategies and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts ETL processes BI tools and data validation techniques.
- High proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python for data-focused testing.
- Experience working with version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
- Familiarity with data pipelines dbt and data modeling practices across bronze silver and gold layers.
- Experience with Databricks cloud environments and containerized workflows such as Docker.
- Exposure to automation testing frameworks and the ability to design or extend custom test cases.
- Knowledge of Power BI Tableau and other visualization tools.
- Understanding of data governance compliance standards and process optimization opportunities.
