Job Summary
The Controller oversees all financial operations within the healthcare organization ensuring accuracy compliance and efficiency across accounting reporting and budgeting functions. This role plays a key part in supporting executive leadership through data-driven financial insights and helps maintain fiscal health in alignment with healthcare regulations and best practices.
This is a fully onsite position
Salary: $105-130k/yr
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger maintenance accounts payable/receivable payroll and month-end close processes.
- Prepare analyze and present timely and accurate financial statements and management reports in accordance with GAAP and healthcare industry standards.
- Develop and manage annual budgets forecasts and financial plans; provide variance analysis and actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Oversee revenue cycle accounting functions including patient billing collections and third-party reimbursement analysis.
- Implement and monitor internal control policies to safeguard assets and ensure operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 6 years accounting experience with 3 years experience in a managerial role
- Prior healthcare experience highly preferred but not required
$105000 - $130000 a year
