Assistant Director of Wellness Responsibilities:
- Supervise schedule and coach nursing and care staff to ensure consistent high-quality service.
- Provide orientation training and ongoing development for the team members in wellness and dementia care best practices.
- Serve as Charge Nurse as needed and oversee medication management according to state regulations.
- Partner with Wellness Director in staffing budgeting and departmental quality improvement.
- Support Memory Care operations in engagement efforts care planning and staff performance.
- Collaborate with families to maintain life journals and ensure proactive communication and resident needs.
- Host educational sessions and family support programs related to caregiving.
- Build strong trusting relationships with residents and families.
- Respond promptly and compassionately to residents or family concerns.
- Partner with the Sales Director on tours move-ins and transition follow-ups to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Ensure accurate documentation compliance and quality service delivery.
- Foster a positive collaborative and accountable workplace culture.
- Lead by example by demonstrating professionalism empathy and a commitment to excellence every day.

- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN or LVN) in good standing.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in senior living skilled nursing or home health with leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of dementia care.
- Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to train mentor and inspire staff.
- A true passion for working with older adults and enhancing their quality of life.
- Current CPR certification is required.
