Job Summary
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an inspiring and creative Early Career Teacher of English to join a high-achieving 1118 academy in Northamptonshire from September 2026.

The Department
The English department is one of the largest and most successful in the school. Housed in a modern suite of classrooms with flexible furniture reading corners and breakout areas it provides an ideal environment for discussion creativity and critical thinking. The department fosters a love of literature and language through engaging units that connect classic and contemporary texts to real-world contexts.
Students regularly take part in creative writing competitions public speaking events and theatre visits to Stratford-upon-Avon. The faculty also collaborates with Drama and Media Studies encouraging students to explore storytelling across different forms.
