Job Title : Child Welfare Systems Support Specialist (IT & Training Foster Care Protective Services)
Location: Rochester NY(Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Qualifications:
- Experience supporting Child Welfare Information Systems (CWIS) within a child welfare environment including child protective services foster care/permanency and preventive services.
- Proven experience providing IT support for systems used in child welfare programs ensuring functionality aligns with service requirements.
- Hands-on experience training end users and providing technical assistance in a child welfare setting both in classroom and on-site environments. Responsibilities included developing user documentation desk aids and reference materials to enhance understanding of business operations and training content.
- Demonstrated experience working on large-scale child welfare applications (15000 users)-from needs assessment and implementation through ongoing support and post-deployment follow-up.
- Background in interpreting and applying regulations that govern child welfare practices and program outcomes including child protective foster care/permanency and preventive service areas.
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline.
