Job Summary

A Sales Executive is responsible for driving company sales by identifying new business opportunities building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. They act as the key point of contact between an organization and its potential and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Actively seek out new sales opportunities through various methods including cold calling networking social selling and referrals.

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong long-lasting relationships with both new and existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.

  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to negotiation and deal closure.

  • Presentations & Demonstrations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and product/service demonstrations tailored to the specific needs of potential clients.

  • Achieve Targets: Meet or exceed monthly quarterly and annual sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

  • Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate pricing contracts and terms of sales to successfully close deals ensuring mutual satisfaction.

  • Market Awareness: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends competitors and new business opportunities.

  • Reporting & CRM: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities leads accounts and sales pipeline progress using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

  • Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams (e.g. Marketing Product Customer Service) to ensure a seamless client experience and aligned sales strategies.

  • Events: Represent the company at trade shows conferences and industry events to generate leads and enhance brand visibility.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive Sales Representative or relevant role.

  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot).

  • High school diploma or GED (Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field is often preferred).
