Job Summary
Introduction
We are seeking an experienced Unit Manager to lead the High Care Unit in Welkom. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all clinical operations managing the team effectively and upholding the highest standards of patient care.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements:
- Professional Nurse qualification and either a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Services Management or an accredited management qualification OR 5 years leadership experience in a hospital
- Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing if managing a specialist unit (e.g. Perioperative Nursing)
- Minimum 5 years Professional Nurse experience in a hospital
- At least 2 years leadership experience in a hospital setting
- SANC registration
- Strong organisational leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage staff and resources efficiently within a high-care environment
