Job Summary

Purpose of the Role

Junior Project Manager supports the planning coordination and delivery of smaller projects or specific project components under the guidance of senior project management staff. The role ensures that projects are executed according to defined timelines quality standards and governance processes contributing to the successful achievement of organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the planning execution and monitoring of smaller projects or specific project deliverables.

Prepare and maintain project documentation including schedules progress reports and meeting minutes.

Support project teams in tracking milestones identifying risks and ensuring alignment with project timelines and deliverables.

Coordinate communication between stakeholders and ensure effective information flow across project teams.

Assist in budget tracking resource coordination and reporting on project status and variances.

Requirements

NQF Level 4 or a Diploma in Information Communication Technology (ICT) or related field.
Project management certification such as PMP Prince2 or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) is advantageous.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a Project Management or Project Support role.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project Jira or Trello).
