General Manager Luxury Restaurant Group Stellenbosch
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and highly organised General Manager to oversee three well-established restaurant outlets with a fourth opening in the Northern Suburbs early next year. The existing outlets are located in Stellenbosch the V&A Waterfront and Sea Point. This role offers a salary of R40000 per month excluding incentives depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background and the leadership ability to ensure operational consistency across multiple sites.
Key Requirements
Strong culinary background; ideally a Head Chef seeking a transition into management
Proven managerial experience within a high-volume or high-standards hospitality environment
Excellent administrative abilities with strong organisational skills
High level of hygiene discipline
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage lead and motivate teams
Ability to plan ahead effectively and solve problems proactively
Solid stock control knowledge and systems understanding
Valid driving licence (manual)
Ability to cook confidently the menu is simple but requires precision
Strong guest-service focus with commitment to delivering consistent quality

The menu is small stable and intentionally unchanging
