The Onboarding Associate role involves reviewing account documentation for completeness coordinating with internal teams and helping resolve any missing or incomplete information. Responsibilities include reviewing and approving account documentation identifying potential KYC/AML risks and collaborating with internal teams to address deficiencies.

Responsibilities

Review new customer account applications and documentation for completeness and accuracy.

Ensures completion of the client due diligence process during onboarding and ensures KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements are completed previous approval of new accounts.

Communicate with internal and external teams to obtain any missing information or clarify details.

Respond to questions about the status of account applications.

Identifies and escalates potential KYC concerns to AML Compliance and Legal Teams during onboarding and ongoing review processes.

Partners with internal teams to ensure regulatory reviews on all prospective customers are performed.

Maintain accurate records of onboarding activities.

Assist senior team members with onboarding-related initiatives.

Assists with ad-hoc projects and reviews as needed.

Assist with other administrative or operational tasks as needed.

Maintains prompt and regular attendance.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business Finance or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).

12 years of experience in customer onboarding client services or administrative support (financial industry experience a plus but not required).

Must have a good understanding of documentation aligned to customer due diligence requirements.

Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
