Administrative / Business Development Assistant
The Administrative/Business Development Assistant will provide essential support to leadership and internal teams by handling a blend of administrative responsibilities and growth-focused initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who is organized detail-oriented and also eager to contribute to the companys internal expansion efforts within existing contracts. The Assistant will help coordinate internal communications track business activities and ensure smooth day-to-day operations while supporting strategic projects that enhance visibility and service alignment across teams.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Providing high-level administrative support to leadership and cross-functional teams including scheduling documentation and internal communications.
- Organizing and maintaining internal records reports and databases to support leadership decision-making.
- Preparing meeting materials and status updates for internal initiatives and team communications.
- Supporting staffing coordination efforts by aligning clinicians with open roles based on internal needs.
- Collaborating with business development and operations teams to support engagement efforts within existing long-term care contracts.
- Tracking and reporting key metrics related to internal growth initiatives and service utilization.
- Helping maintain consistency and clarity in internal messaging and communications across departments.
- Contributing to team projects that improve internal workflows communication or service delivery.
- Performing other administrative duties as assigned to support company-wide efficiency and growth.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle professional correspondence and internal communications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with great attention to detail.
- A proactive mindset and ability to take initiative on tasks and small projects.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively across multiple teams.
- Comfort handling confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
- A basic understanding of how administrative functions support broader business objectives.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- A 2-year degree is required; a bachelors degree in marketing communications or a related field is preferred.
- Administrative assistant experience is required; exposure to business development staffing or healthcare environments is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint); comfort with spreadsheets shared drives and internal tracking tools.
