Job Title: Social Worker - Safeguarding Team
Location: Durham
Pay Rate: 32.73
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting an experienced Social Worker for its clients Safeguarding Team in Durham.
We are committed to protecting children and supporting families through high-quality social work practice. The role follows a hybrid working model - typically two days in the office and three days from home (subject to change based on service needs).
As an experienced Social Worker you will play a key role in delivering statutory services and interventions to children and families under Child in Need Child Protection Public Law Outline (PLO) and Court proceedings.
What will your responsibilities be
- Complete Children & Families assessments in line with statutory requirements.
- Chair Core Groups and Child in Need meetings.
- Write Children in Our Care reports and plans.
- Attend PLO meetings and contribute to pre-proceedings work.
- Prepare Court evidence and attend hearings as required.
- Work directly with children and families under Child in Need Child Protection PLO and Court processes.
- Undertake other social work-related tasks as directed by your manager.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
