Job Summary
Ultradent the global name in oral health is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to work on the Day Shift in our Building 2 Manufacturing Department:
Hours: Monday thru Thursday 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Shift Hours can be adjusted depending on Production requirements.
Job Duties:
- Work as a team member in production by ensuring equipment maintains quality standards and expected throughput.
- Perform required preventive maintenance to all equipment and keep necessary records.
- Troubleshoots equipment problems.
- Ensures compliance with safety standards.
- Set up and adjust equipment to produce quality products according to specified standards.
- Complete and maintain proper equipment records.
- Willingness to stay till work is complete. Unplanned overtime can be required without notice.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Skills Required:
- Must communicate effectively.
- Methodical and analytical approach to problem solving.
- Electrical and mechanical experience.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic math skills.
- Experience in implementing continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma 5S TPM TOC SMED etc.) is preferred.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment is preferred.
Experience/Schooling/Degree Required:
- MUST have prior experience with production equipment. Experience3 Yrs. Minimum
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Any technical certifications is preferred.
