Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled reliable and hands-on Part-Time Maintenance Technician to handle essential repairs and upkeep throughout our hotel. This role is crucial for guest satisfaction and property functionality.
The Role & Schedule
You will perform routine maintenance preventative maintenance (PMs) and respond to emergency issues.
This is a Part-Time position. Hours will average 15 hours per week initially increase during busy seasons (March and summer months) and then stabilize at approximately 10 hours per week starting in April.
Requirements
Key Expertise Required
2 years of professional hotel or commercial building maintenance experience.
Licensing & Pool: Must possess or be able to immediately obtain a valid Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license or equivalent and be proficient in chemical balancing and pool equipment maintenance.
HVAC: Strong troubleshooting skills for minor repairs on PTAC units (the in-room heating/cooling units) and general HVAC systems.
General Systems: Proven ability to troubleshoot and execute repairs in electrical plumbing and lock systems (Onity lock experience is a plus).
Ability to perform general handyman duties (drywall painting minor carpentry).
Required Qualifications
A commitment to guest service and quickly resolving issues that impact the guest experience.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during emergencies.
Clean driving record and ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
