Job Summary
The IT Development and Engineering Senior Manager participates with senior management to establish strategic plans and objectives within cloud development to ensure high-quality performance and user experience. They lead development team(s) to develop new methods and solve complex matters to shorten the systems delivery lifecycle and provide a continuous delivery platform.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Supervision
- Strategic leader Directs operational units.
- Directs the activities of a functional area or multiple integrated departments through lower management.
- Leads team(s) to develop new methods and solve complex matters.
- Responsible for supporting the talent strategy through hiring onboarding learning & development performance succession planning engagement recognition and inclusion diversity and equity practices.
- Responsible for fostering a work environment that encourages employees to act with integrity and respect.
- Responsible for setting employee objectives and expectations monitoring and evaluating performance providing meaningful feedback and mentorship.
- Responsible for supporting employee career development.
- Contributes to development of strategies of a function or multi departments.
Knowledge & Application
- Participates with senior management to establish strategic plans and objectives. Makes final decisions on implementation and ensures operational effectiveness.
- Effectively cascades functional strategy and contributes to development of organizational policies.
- Accountable for actions that impact function or multiple department budgets.
- Works on complex issues where problems are not clearly defined and where fundamental principles do not fully apply.
- Translates business segment strategy into functional plans and guides execution. Participates in corporate development of methods techniques and evaluation criteria for projects programs and people.
- Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.
Collaboration & Interaction
- Interacts with senior management executives and/or major customers which frequently involves negotiating matters of significance to the organization.
- Reconciles multiple stakeholder views to drive business results.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
Education
Required
- Bachelors degree or higher in the Information Technology (IT) lieu of a degree at least 11 years of experience in IT
Knowledge and Experience
Required
- 8 years of experience in IT
- 4 years of experience managing direct reports
Preferred
- Experience with React and microservices
- Knowledgeable in liquid batch manufacturing
- Experience with agile methodologies
