Job Summary
Claims Transactions Processor
Location - Helena MT
Full-Time:Monday Friday standard schedule 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
$18 per hour which may be below your states minimum wage. Please take this into consideration when applying.
Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative/clerical support to business operations by performing processing tasks such as data entry.
- Performs data entry of material from source documents to a computer database.
- Transcribes routine pre-coded and identifiable alphanumeric data from source document into an automated system.
- Ensures accuracy and completeness of data/assigned work.
- Ability to compare lists of numbers and find mismatches/errors.
- Handle multiple assignments.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality informational accuracy and production.
- Must be able to work under strict deadlines for assigned projects.
- All other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ten Key experience.
Preferred Qualifications and Success Factors:
- Medical claims and payment processing experience preferred
- Accurate typing skills
- Attention to detail/accurate typing skills
- Data entry skills and 6000 ksph numeric
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to use PC 10 key calculator and/or data entry program
