Job Summary
We are looking for a Principal Engineer who will be responsible for the installation configuration and maintenance of Oracles technologies and products.
Must be proficient and have hands-on working experience on the following areas
Oracle Linux
OEM Cloud Control
Oracle Engineered Systems Exadata and ZDLRA
Backup and Restoration
Responsibilities
Full time Engineer providing Oracle ZDLRA base rack L2/L3 support as follows
Configuration of Cloud Control for Recovery Appliance
of ZDLRA including generation and review of backups reports on Recovery Appliance
of patches for ZDLRA.
the following routine maintenance/BAU tasks for Recovery appliance:
Monitor activity on Recovery Appliance
Monitor backup jobs from ZDLRA Perspective (Not monitoring for DBA Backups of Database is DBA responsibility any issues that arise in ZDLRA backups we will assist DBA)
Generate and review reports on Recovery Appliance
Restart the Recovery Appliance
Performing Health check of Recovery appliance.
all system activities (related to ZDLRA) including assistance with Backup related performance issues as needed.
Managing Protection Policies with Recovery Appliance
Managing of Recovery Appliance for Protected Database Access
Copy Backups to Tape with Recovery Appliance
Manage backup replication with Recovery Appliance
Perform Monitoring of the Recovery Appliance
Extract/Access Recovery Appliance Reports
with monitoring routines for ZDLRA.
with database backup issues and incidents in ZDLRA.
duties on supporting operational / technical aspects of the ZDLRA.
Note:
This candidate must be a Singapore-born Citizen that was cleared on Cat 1 or at least a Cat 2 G50 Security Clearance to work on Singapore government projects. (G50 security clearance was imposed by the Singapore government and is mandatory for all vendors that needs to work on government projects).
