We are seeking a hands-on Senior Business Analyst Sales Analytics to partner with Sales Marketing Revenue Operations and Leadership to turn data into actionable insights. The role requires strong business acumen excellent SQL and dash boarding skills and the ability to translate complex data into simple recommendations that improve pipeline velocity conversion and overall revenue performance. You will own the analytics stack across Salesforce Alteryx dbt and Tableau helping drive data-informed decisions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Sales leadership and Revenue Operations to frame business questions define KPIs and deliver actionable recommendations.
- Build and maintain standardized reporting for pipeline health funnel conversion SDR/AE performance lead routing and forecast accuracy.
- Lead ad hoc analyses on campaign effectiveness territory coverage channel performance and pricing/discounting trends.
- Design robust SQL/dbt models for sales data marts ensuring clean definitions documentation and repeatable data workflows.
- Develop and maintain user-friendly Tableau dashboards driving adoption through training versioning and stakeholder feedback.
- Monitor Salesforce data hygiene optimize reporting datasets and collaborate with Sales Ops and Data Engineering to resolve data issues.
- Implement QA checks alerting and monitoring for critical reports and pipelines; document metrics dashboards and workflows.
Requirements
- 58 years of experience in Sales/Revenue Analytics or Business Analytics in fintech SaaS financial services or similar data-rich environments.
- Strong SQL proficiency (window functions CTEs performance tuning) and hands-on experience building curated models in dbt.
- Experience with Salesforce data analytics including objects fields opportunity stages campaigns and activity data.
- Proficiency in Tableau including LOD expressions parameters actions and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Alteryx or comparable ETL/data preparation tools.
- Proven ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions and communicate insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
