Leads observability operations across databases infrastructure and applications. Designs dashboards tuning rules alert thresholds and automation workflows. Troubleshoots issues conducts root cause analysis and drives improvements in monitoring coverage and system reliability while mentoring junior engineers.

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelors

Degree Preferred: Bachelors or masters in science Computer Science Engineering

Strong understanding of observability frameworks and SRE principles

Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting for databases (SQL Oracle MySQL PostgreSQL) applications and cloud platforms

Proficiency in configuring dashboards logs traces and uptime monitoring

Ability to build and maintain scripts and automation workflows (Shell Python PowerShell SQL)

Experience in incident response root cause analysis and problem management

Understanding of database performance metrics replication behavior latency and HA/DR constructs

Ability to proactively detect capacity issues and forecast growth trends

Experience validating backup integrity patch success DB job completion and recovery readiness

Ability to manage environment provisioning through Terraform/Ansible with guidance
