Job Summary

Couple Position Small family farm holiday let & rewilding project in Devon (Nepalese Speakers Advantageous)

We are looking for a flexible hands-on couple to assist with the smooth running of a private family farm house small holiday-let business and surrounding grounds. Nepalese speakers would be especially advantageous for this role.

About the Role

This is a varied active position ideal for a couple who enjoy working with animals nature and people. Duties include:

Housekeeping & Family Support: General cleaning laundry and household organisation; occasional family cooking; and some childcare/babysitting.

Property & Grounds Maintenance: Upkeep and general maintenance of the house gardens and holiday cabins.

Animal Care: Helping care for dogs a love of animals is essential.

Assisting with Rewilding Project: Opportunity to contribute to an ongoing ecological and rewilding initiative on the property.

Requirements

Strong work ethic and flexible can-do attitude

Comfortable in a varied role

Practical experience in general maintenance gardening animal care or housekeeping

Enjoy working as part of a family environment

Working Hours & Accommodation

Typically Monday to Friday 40 hours per week with occasional weekend work (time off in lieu provided)

Occasional babysitting may be required (with time off in lieu)

Accommodation provided: a two-bedroom annexe next to the main house

Regretfully not suitable for pets but dependents are welcome

Compensation

Salary: gross per annum (depending on experience)

All costs covered (accommodation utilities etc.)
