What youll do...
About Team:
Our team works closely with our US stores and eCommerce business to better serve customers by empowering team members stores and merchants with technological innovation. From groceries and entertainment to sporting goods and crafts Walmart U.S. offers an extensive selection that our customers value whether they shop online at through one of our mobile apps or in-store. Focus areas include customers stores and employees in-store service merchant tools merchant data science and search and personalization.
- Must be able to Weekends and Holidays. We are an operations that works 12-hour shifts. This is a permanent on-site position.
Work schedule is every other Wednesday 7am-730pm and every Thursday Friday and Saturday from 7am-730pm.
What youll do:
- Able to monitor batch flows and escalate if SLA will be missed.
- Able to restart 70% of the batch job while taking phone calls.
- Able to monitor mainframe and open systems where we run our batch jobs ensuring systems are stable.
What youll bring:
- Mainframe experience is helpful but not required.
- Able to multi-task by using many different communications channels.
- Knowledge of JCL (job control language).
- How to type and take phone calls.
Additional responsobilities include 24/7 L2 Support for Walmart & Sams around the globe for batch schedulers that run on the mainframe and open systems. Being able to muti-task and support our customers through different channels ofcommunications whether it be a phone call Zoom Slack or Team.
