Job Summary
Title: Sr. Systems Engineer
Location: 210 Celebration Place Celebration Florida 34747- Hybrid
Type: Contract (W2 Only)
Job Description:
Required:
o Minimum 5 years experience supporting Automic Automation Engine or other enterprise job scheduling tools (e.g. JAMS) in an enterprise environment.
o Minimum 5 years background in IT computer systems engineering or systems engineering and analysis.
o Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux (RHEL) operating systems.
o Understanding of OS-level concepts and high-level infrastructure architecture.
o Self-starter with ability to take initiative and balance multiple priorities with minimal direction.
o Demonstrated strong communication and design skills both verbal and written.
o Familiarity with ServiceNow Jira or other ticketing tools.
o Familiarity with Confluence (or other documentation/wikis).
o Ability to diagnose simple to complex system and process problems.
o Demonstrated exceptional troubleshooting methodology including the ability to communicate complex problems to all levels of technical skillsets.
o Automation mindset-always looking for opportunities to automate processes where possible.
Preferred Qualifications :
o Prior maritime experience from a technology perspective.
o Expertise in Windows and Linux.
o Experience in user management via Active Directory.
o Strong skills in PowerShell or other scripting languages.
o Experience integrating with ServiceNow.
o Knowledge of enterprise monitoring solutions.
o Background in large-scale environments with multiple Automic instances.

Responsibilities:
o Design analyze evaluate test debug and implement Automic workflows supporting critical business processes.
o Review and optimize workflows for performance reliability and scalability.
o Support migration of workflows from deprecated on-prem instances to cloud platforms.
o Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and bash to improve operational efficiency.
o Collaborate with teams to integrate workflows with ServiceNow and expand monitoring capabilities.
o Document processes and workflows thoroughly for consistency and compliance.
o Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in job scheduling and automation.
