What Youll Do
The Registered Nurse works at our main hospital campus reporting directly to the Emergency Department this role youll provide professional compassionate care to patients in a Level IV emergency department. As a rural health facility our ED sees a wide variety of casessome routine some unexpectedoffering an opportunity to use strong critical thinking and broad clinical skills while caring for patients and families in our community.
- Triages each patient and determines priority of care based on physical psychological and social needs.
- Records patient histories performs various diagnostic tests administers medications and develops patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals.
- Assists physicians during examinations and emergency procedures operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary.
- Observes patients progress records observations in patient medical record and updates attending physician directly when necessary.
- The RN assists in the maintenance of health and the prevention or management of illness injury and disability.
- Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.
Who Were Looking For
- Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
- Active license in theState of Colorado as an RN.
- Must have an American Heart Association BLS card within 3 months of initial employment and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.
- American Heart Association ACLS PALS or ENPC and TNCC certifications are required within 6 months of initial employment and must be maintained throughout GRHD employment.
- One year of professional nursing experience in an emergency department setting preferred.

- $30.50 - $47.36 Dependent on experience may vary outside this range

- Pay Range: $$30.50 - $47.36/hour (based on experience)
- Shift Differentials: $2$4/hour for nights and weekends and other incentive pay available.
- PRN Differential: 10% differential in addition to base rate salary

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors including a candidates qualifications skills competencies and experience.
