Easterseals Florida is seeking a Bilingual Family Engagement Specialist to join our team in Tampa supporting families with children from birth to age 8 providing group therapy sessions to aid in child development strategies. This role involves facilitating parent/guardian group and in-home sessions and child group and in-home sessions and ensuring the compliance and overall successful achievement of grant deliverables.
This is a hybrid position facilitating groups in person throughout Hillsborough County.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate group and in-home sessions for parents/guardians and children
- Coordinate with community agencies and promote program services
- Represent the program at outreach events (school fairs family nights etc.)
- Create a welcoming group environment and encourage positive interaction
- Maintain focus on family needs and child development strategies
- Ensure compliance with grant deliverables and program goals
Qualifications
- Masters degree in social work psychology early childhood education or related field
- Minimum 3 years of direct experience in a related field
- Bilingual - fluent in Spanish and English (spoken written and read)
- Strong communication customer service and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Professional energetic and team-oriented attitude
- Must meet driver requirements; travel is required
