In2Great Pediatric Therapy is a growing and thriving multi-disciplinary clinic that is looking for experienced part-time evening and/or weekend Therapist. We are seeking OT SLP PT or LCSW/LSW therapists to work with out staff and clients. We have just expanded our state-of-the-art facility and we are ready and willing to receive additional therapists and clients. Our multidisciplinary pediatric therapy clinic offers robust OT SLP PT Mental Health feeding therapy a therapeutic preschool program transitional program and ABA services. Our mission is to help as many children as much as we can to help support our community and to haveFUNwhile we do it!

In2Great! is a sensory integration-based clinic. Our clinicians take a child-centered approach when treating our clients. Brief job description entails evaluation of clients writing up evaluations treatment planning establishing goals conducting therapy sessions documentation of sessions communication with clients parents/caregivers collaboration/communication with client teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
  • Provide therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and interventions to address specific goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with parents caregivers teachers and other professionals to ensure consistency and carryover of therapy strategies across environments.
  • Monitor childrens progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Educate parents and caregivers on strategies and techniques to support their childs development and carryover therapy goals at home and in other settings.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions progress notes and reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in team meetings case conferences and interdisciplinary collaborations to coordinate care and promote holistic approaches to child development.

Requirements:

  • Therapy practitioners board certified registered and licensed in the state of Illinois
  • Current state licensure or certification as an certified therapist in his/her discipline.
  • Experience working with children of all ages with a variety of disabilities such as developmental delays sensory processing disorders autism spectrum disorder cerebral palsy and physical impairments.
  • Familiarity with the DIR/Floortime model and its principles for promoting child development through respectful child-led interactions and relationships.
  • Proficiency in implementing DIR/Floortime techniques such as following the childs lead creating opportunities for shared attention and engagement and scaffolding interactions to support higher-level developmental capacities.
  • Understanding of naturalistic environment therapy approaches including strategies for embedding therapeutic activities within a childs natural routines interests and play experiences.
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques and interventions to fit the childs individual strengths preferences and sensory processing patterns within naturalistic environments such as home school or community settings.
  • Integration of sensory-based interventions and environmental modifications to support sensory regulation and participation in daily activities within naturalistic contexts.
  • Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to each childs unique needs and goals.
  • Empathy patience and creativity in engaging children and fostering a positive therapeutic environment.
  • Organizational skills to manage caseloads prioritize tasks and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning in the field of pediatric occupational therapy
