About the Role

The Veterinary Medical Director will oversee medical operations mentor clinical staff and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide medical direction and uphold the highest standards of care.

  • Support and mentor veterinarians and technical staff through collaboration and guidance.

  • Develop and refine medical protocols and best practices.

  • Build strong client relationships through education and communication.

  • Contribute to strategic planning and community engagement.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree.

  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience; leadership experience preferred.

  • Skilled in both small and large animal medicine (mixed-animal background ideal).

  • Current or eligible for Texas veterinary licensure.

  • Strong communication leadership and mentoring abilities.
