Job Summary:

JOB SUMMARY
Performs coordinates and ensures accurate and timely entry of information into electronic databases with occasional guidance. Evaluates images for correctness and completeness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares scans and enters information into the electronic medical record.
Reviews and assigns appropriate indices to scanned/uploaded images.
Performs corrections to indexing parameters.
Conducts routine analyses of scanned/uploaded images and routes document to coordinator if incomplete or deficient.

Database Knowledge (Novice): Knowledge and understanding of a database and how data is organized so that its contents can easily be accessed managed and updated.
Medical Records Management (Novice): Knowledge of how and where to store and maintain basic records associated with job assignments.
Document Auditing (Fundamental Awareness): Auditing is conducting an independent review and examination of records and activities in order to test the adequacy and effectiveness of procedures policies standards rules capabilities and other aspects to ensure compliance with established policy and operational procedures and to recommend any necessary changes.
Time Management (Novice): Planning and exercising conscious control over the amount of time spent on specific activities.
