Job Summary

E-logic seeks a Senior Database Administrator to manage maintain and secure the databases supporting the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) Interior Business Center (IBC) IT infrastructure. This is a mission-critical role responsible for ensuring database availability integrity and compliance.

Responsibilities:

Administer test and implement computer databases applying extensive knowledge of database management systems.
Plan coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases and ensure compliance with federal requirements.
Monitor database performance coordinate changes and oversee the efforts of less senior DBA staff.

Qualifications:

Masters Degree in Computer Science IT or a related field (or a Bachelors degree with equivalent experience).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in database administration configuration and support in an enterprise environment.
