Job Summary
Position and Responsibilities Overview
- Provide deep technical insights into modular products including turnkey modular data centers UPS pods e-houses and electrical conveyance systems.
- Stay updated on compliance standards and permitting process for modular programs
- Lead the preparation of technical proposals including understanding the project requirements & specifications and organizing an internalproposal plan with estimating engineering marketing and production.
- Ensure the project inclusions and exclusions are clearly coordinated internally with the estimating department and externally in the customer-facing proposal
- Deliver detailed technical presentations to customers as required for business development or to present previously submitted proposals
- Maintain expertise on industry trends competitor offerings and new technologies in the modular mission-critical space with a particular emphasis on emerging areas like AI data centers edge computing green energy solutions and power infrastructure.
- Use insights to position the companys solutions effectively and advise customers on innovations that impact modular infrastructure.
- Ensure a smooth transition from sales to operations with all pertinent project information turned over to the operations team for seamless project execution.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in construction management engineering or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales business development or pre-sales in the data center IT infrastructure telecommunications or power markets. Experience with modular construction is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of data center and mission-critical infrastructure (power cooling network architecture etc.) modular construction and energy-efficient technologies.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g. Tier ratings Uptime Institute standards) and a strong focus on providing customers with the technical details to make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of a data center commissioning process is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience and lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong technical writing skills with the ability to create proposals that clearly communicate business value and technical specifics.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively to offer innovative compliant solutions tailored to customer needs across various modular product offerings.
