As a Pre-Sales Engineering Intern youll work closely with experienced engineers to partner effectively with the sales teams in understanding customer needs craft technical solutions and contribute to the success of real-world projects. This is a great opportunity to learn about enterprise technologies such as Data Protection Analytics Storage Virtualization Cloud and AI while being part of a global team that values innovation and collaboration.
How youll spend your time here:
Support the Global Inside Sales Engineering team in articulating and demonstrating the key business value of Cohesity solutions for customers.
Assist in discovering customer requirements and mapping them to potential technical solutions.
Participate in preparing technical presentations demos and proof-of-concepts.
Shadow experienced Inside Sales Engineers to understand how to partner effectively with sales product and support teams to understand the end-to-end customer journey.
Learn how to analyze customer environments and suggest optimization opportunities.
Help maintain documentation presentations and solution templates used in customer engagements.
Gain exposure to customer meetings and learn how enterprise solution discussions are structured.
We would love to talk to you if you have many of the following:
Current student pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business Informatics or a related field with an availability to start the industry placement in Jan/Feb 2026 for a duration of 6 months.
Passion for technology problem-solving and learning how enterprise solutions are built and delivered.
Basic understanding of Cloud platforms Virtualization Networking or Data Management concepts.
Strong communication and teamwork skills; comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced remote-friendly environment.
Self-starter with curiosity and attention to detail.
Previous project coursework or internship experience in a technical field is a plus.

In-Office Expectations
Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
