Positive Carbon is the technology partner of choice for commercial kitchens aiming to eliminate their food waste. Our AI-powered sensors automatically track food waste saving businesses thousands in food costs and carbon taxes. We are currently working with market leaders like KSG Levy Aramark and the HSE amongst others.
We are looking for a Fractional VP of Sales to join us on a flexible basis (1.5 days per week). We need a commercial heavy-hitter to enter the cockpit professionalise our sales process and close enterprise-level deals.
Tasks
You will be the architect of our commercial growth. Working 1 day a week from our Dublin office and a half-day remotely your focus will be high-leverage activities:
- Build the Playbook: Codify our sales process. You will analyze what is currently working refine the value proposition and build a repeatable sales methodology (SaaS B2B) that can be scaled.
- Commercial Strategy: Define our go-to-market strategy for the next 12 months. Who are we targeting How are we pricing How do we shorten the sales cycle
- Mentorship & Hiring: As we grow you will help design the future sales org structure and set the standard for what great looks like in future hires.
- Pipeline Rigour: Implement disciplined pipeline management to ensure our revenue forecasting is accurate and reliable.
Requirements
Who You Are:
- Experience: 10 years in B2B Sales with at least 3 years at a Head of Sales or VP level.
- The Builder Mindset: You have a proven track record of taking early-stage SaaS or Tech companies from <1M ARR to 5M ARR. You know how to build a process from scratch.
- Enterprise Expertise: You are comfortable navigating complex procurement processes within large organizations (Contract Catering Government Hospitality groups).
- Sector Knowledge: Experience in Food Tech Hospitality or Sustainability is a massive plus but a strong SaaS background is essential.
- Strategic & Tactical: You are willing to strategise with the board in the morning and jump on a closing call in the afternoon.
