Responsibilities:
- Advise clinical and operational leaders onlegal regulatory and compliance issues affecting patient care hospital operations and medical staff matters.
- Provideguidance on and review of agreements and operational arrangements involving clinical services physician engagement vendors and strategic initiatives.
- Partner with risk compliance and quality teams tosupport initiatives related to patient safety quality of care and regulatory compliance.
- Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure consistent compliant and efficient clinical operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing in Texas; strong knowledge of healthcare law and regulations.
- Minimum 6 years of strong healthcare hospital or clinical operations legal practice.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical risk management medical staff matters and regulatory compliance (e.g. HIPAA Stark Law CMS rule).
- Strong contract management and negotiation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
Compensation Benefits & Location:
This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $140000 and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits 401K and more.
