At RubyLaw we engineer custom high-performance websites for some of the worlds leading law firms.
Our Services Team is looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to build and launch these client sites which are powered by our flagship RubyLaw CMS.

Our Technology Stack
As a Senior Software Engineer on our Services Team youll be building on a modern JavaScript-based stack including:
- Front-end: React Redux (and other state management like React Context) and a deep understanding of modern JavaScript (ESNext)
- Styling: Sass/SCSS with a focus on CSS-in-JS or component-based styling methodologies
- Back-end: with express web server
- Build Tools: Webpack Babel
- Databases: Elasticsearch PostgreSQL and Couchbase
What Youll Bring
- Senior-level experience: 8 years of professional front-end and full-stack web development experience with at least 3 years working with React in a professional setting
- Expertise in our stack: Extensive knowledge of JavaScript (ESNext) React and Redux
- Component-based architecture: Proven experience building reusable modular UI components and scalable front-end architectures
- Pixel-perfect execution: The ability to translate high-end designs into performant high-quality code that is faithful to the original design
- Problem-solving: A strong understanding of data structures algorithms and performance optimization techniques
- Collaboration: Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients designers and other engineers
- Nice to have: Experience with headless CMS platforms (like Contentful Strapi) and familiarity with tools like Figma Zeplin or Sketch. Proven ability to leverage various AI tools for enhanced coding efficiency.
