Job Summary

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SQL Developer with 35 years of hands-on experience in database development query optimization and performance tuning. The candidate should be able to work closely with application teams to design develop and optimize database solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain complex SQL queries views stored procedures and functions
Perform query optimization and performance tuning for existing databases and reports
Analyze and resolve database performance issues
Support production issues related to database queries and reports
Work with business and technical teams to understand data requirements
Ensure data accuracy integrity and security
Assist in report development and optimization
Document database objects and technical solutions

Required Skills:

Strong experience in SQL development (Oracle / SQL Server / MySQL specify if needed)
Expertise in writing optimized SQL queries
Experience with performance tuning indexing and execution plan analysis
Strong understanding of relational database concepts
Experience supporting production environments
Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Good to Have:

Experience with reporting tools
Knowledge of ETL processes
Basic understanding of application development workflows
Experience working in high-volume data environments

Required Skills:

7 years of experience in data architecture database design and cloud-based data solutions. Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2019 (T-SQL) and NoSQL databases. Experience with ETL data integration and API-based data exchanges. Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure) for data infrastructure. Strong proficiency in data modeling tools and techniques. Experience designing and implementing secure compliant data solutions. Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments with a strong understanding of iterative development.
