Job Summary
Main Activities
- Responsible for the successful operation of the operating portfolio maximizing portfolio uptime while maintaining OPEX budget
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the project assets including revenue interconnection compliance and maintenance agreements
- Manage and monitor compliance in all contracts and activities
- Responsibility for data monitoring and SCADA systems across fleet
- Track and present key performance indicators performing data analysis as needed
- Identify and track system performance issues and coordinate resolution with maintenance providers
- O&M management purchasing parts planning inventory tracking inventory management project file management maintenance reporting and outage summary log
- Process warranty claims with vendors and suppliers as needed
- Prepare periodic asset management reports (including operational and financial performance)
- Identify and implement strategies for fleet optimization
- Setup new projects in DAS system and manage portfolio dashboard reporting system
- Interface with Construction team on upcoming development projects and support transition from construction into operating portfolio
- Interface with land owners utility and other stakeholders as needed
Qualifications :
- A record of academic and professional achievement well developed communication skills the ability to collaborate well with a small team proven organizational acumen working on multiple projects and a high level of motivation are vital in this role
- Well versed in day to day operations of solar BESS and hybrid facilities
- Strong background in electrical systems (PV BESS substations)
- Working knowledge of ISOs specifically PJM CAISO WECC as well as NERC regulatory requirements for renewables
- Strong background in Ignition based SCADA systems and DAS providers
- Bachelors Degree required (Engineering preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Detail oriented and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to continuously prioritize effectively
- Prior experience in solar operations and maintenance performance analytics or technical asset management
