Job Summary
As a Full stack Developer on Ventions Applications team you will be responsible for designing building and testing robotics solutions which leverage Ventions hardware automation and software ecosystem as well as our partners. You will lead the development of robotics solutions and contribute to the creation of Ventions flagship applications such as the MachineApps Palletizer and the MachineApps Sanding. You will work hands-on with robots on a daily basis and with multiple leading robot brands such as FANUC Universal Robots and ABB. You will work closely with Automation Engineers Electrical Engineers Mechanical Engineers and Robotics Engineers from Ventions core product teams.
The Full Stack Developer is called to work in various phases of a product from early-stage prototyping/mockup with a marketing intent to late-stage development for client and product milestones.
In this role you will:
- Architect build and deploy internal and public-facing features using TypeScript React and Python
- Write highly maintainable code through simplicity and good requirement assessment
- Design build test and characterize robotic solutions leveraging Ventions ecosystem.
- Work hands-on with robots of multiple brands on a daily basis.
- Inform the core product roadmap by creating prototype and early-version components alongside the Mechanical Hardware and Automation Hardware teams to broaden the scope of Ventions productized Applications and overall product offering.
- Work on current existing Ventions MachineApps future releases for continuous improvement and to increase their feature set.
- Learn new industrial manufacturing processes to develop new Ventions productized applications.
- Work on every step of a robotic product development from prototyping to development and from full release process to post-release client support.
- Assist in the drafting of documentation for Applications (Design Guides Integration/Assembly Manuals Installation Manuals User Manuals).
Qualifications :
- Minimum 7 years of on-the-job experience
- Expert with Python React and TypeScript
- Project experience with UI or industrial HMI development
- Solid experience writing automated tests
