About the Firm:
As part of our ongoing growth we are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Compliance Officer to strengthen our internal governance and compliance frameworks. The successful candidate will manage key aspects of client onboarding due diligence and ongoing KYC/AML compliance ensuring our operations align with current regulatory standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee and carry out client onboarding processes to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Maintain and review KYC records in a detailed and organized manner
• Verify Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) including source of funds and source of wealth assessments
• Update and improve the firms KYC and AML policies in line with applicable laws and regulations
• Act as the primary contact for compliance-related communications with clients and external counterparties
• Proactively identify assess and escalate potential risks or issues related to compliance procedures
• Conduct systematic reviews to identify and mitigate compliance risks with appropriate action plans
• Handle compliance inquiries from external stakeholders promptly and accurately

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Law Business Administration Finance or a related discipline (legal background advantageous)
• Minimum of 2 years of proven compliance experience within a legal fiduciary or financial services environment in Cyprus
• Fluency in Greek and English both written and spoken
• Strong knowledge of KYC/AML regulations and best practices
• Excellent organizational documentation and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
• Professional communication skills and high ethical standards
• Discretion and professionalism in dealing with sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Law Business Administration Finance or related fields is advantageous
• Legal background is considered a strong asset for this role
