Your Role at Baxter

The Calibration Technician performs routine calibrations on production and lab equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards. This role focuses on temperature monitoring and uses systems like Maximo to handle calibration schedules and documentation. Technicians work independently across various production areas and are key to maintaining equipment reliability.

What youll be doing

• Tests and calibrates measuring and indicating instruments for conformance to established government commercial and specification standards.
• Set up test equipment measures accuracy of instruments used to record Pressure Temperature etc.
• Adjust/repair instruments to meet calibration standards.
• Coordinates instrument re-certification with outside standards laboratories which includes performing incoming inspections and documentation reviews on these instruments.
• Maintain calibrations scheduling database.

What youll bring

• High School Diploma GED or equivalent.
• 0-3 years of experience.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (replacement of HEPA filters)

• Candidate should not be allergic to PENICILLIN or the CEPHALOSPORINS

• Requires effective skills in mathematics and computers.
• Prior calibration experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision on routine calibrations and various projects as in individual or in a team environment.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter we are committed to equitable pay for all employees and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $48000 - $66000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location skills and expertise experience and other relevant factors.This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
