Essential Functions:
- Work with confidential students records.
- Manage enrollment procedures including new student enrollments at registration and student withdrawals and transfers.
- Screen telephone calls and set appointments.
- Set college visits for students.
- Work with a computerized data entry system.
- Use Microsoft office for Word Processing and Excel.
- Assist the registrar with transfers transcripts analysis and maintaining students records and files.
- Assist in the creation and submission of monthly reports to state agencies.
- Monitor and maintain guidance files and supplies as well as supplies needed for testing career exploration and college admission.
- Assist in coordinating student awards and recognition programs.
- Assist counselors with preparations for graduation including final grades and student-by-student analysis for completing procedures for graduation.
- Prepare guidance office mailings.
- Assist counselors with preparations for test administration and student enrollment.
- Coordinator and be responsible for student identification card processes and updates.
- Serve as liaison with local and regional agencies for student placement for enrollment.
- Oversee student office workers duties and responsibilities and monitor their daily work in guidance office.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to walk and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand or sit. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision and depth perception. Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
