Project Lead - Civil & Interior

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Lead to oversee and manage civil and interior construction projects from conception through completion. This role requires a dynamic professional who can coordinate multidisciplinary teams ensure project delivery within scope budget and timeline while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead and manage civil and interior construction projects from planning through project closeout

• Develop comprehensive project schedules budgets and resource allocation plans

• Coordinate with architects engineers contractors and subcontractors

• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary

• Ensure compliance with building codes safety regulations and quality standards

Team Leadership

• Manage cross-functional project teams including designers engineers and construction professionals

• Facilitate regular project meetings and maintain clear communication channels

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

• Coordinate with stakeholders and clients throughout project lifecycle

Technical Oversight

• Review and approve civil and interior design drawings and specifications

• Conduct site inspections and quality control assessments

• Resolve technical issues and design conflicts

• Ensure integration between civil infrastructure and interior systems

• Oversee MEP coordination for interior buildouts

Financial & Risk Management

• Monitor project budgets and control costs

• Process change orders and manage scope modifications

• Identify and mitigate project risks

• Prepare regular project status reports and financial updates

Required Qualifications

Education & Certification

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Architecture Construction Management or related field

• PMP certification is a plus (optional)

Experience

• 7 years of experience in civil and/or interior construction project management

• Proven track record managing projects

• Experience with commercial office retail or mixed-use developments

• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in project management software (MS Project Primavera etc.)

• Experience with BIM/CAD software (AutoCAD Revit etc.)

• Knowledge of construction methods materials and building systems

• Understanding of MEP systems integration

• Familiarity with LEED and sustainable construction practices
