Job Summary
Java Backend developer Job Description:
Must Haves:
- Experience with reactive programming (e.g. WebFlux Reactor)
- Foundational knowledge of distributed systems and in particular microservices
- Experience designing web-based applications (e.g. REST)
- Experience with a modern Java Web Framework (e.g. Spring Boot Micronaut)
- Very good fundamental knowledge of Java (runtime standard library common 3rd party libraries)
- Natural sense for security
- Experience with containerized applications (e.g. Docker)
- Experience with storage technologies
- Experience with VCS (e.g. Git Mercurial)
- Experience with modern CI/CD practices
Nice to have experience:
- Kubernetes
- Redis
- ElasticSearch
- Postgres
- Event-based systems (e.g. Kafka)
- Architecture design
- Cloud platforms (e.g. Azure)
