Job Summary

Job Purpose

Administrates and co-ordinates day-to-day activities of the bid office and to provides support to tender preparation and submissions associated bid documentation. Responsible for quality proposal/Bids documents and responding to inbound leads in order to allow the business to respond more promptly to potential customers.

Required Qualifications

  • Grade 12.
  • National Diploma in Marketing ManagementBusiness Administration Supply Chain Management Project Management)
  • National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Advantage)
  • Additional certifications/professional registration (e.g. tendering procurement supply chain APMP)-(Advantage)

Required Experience

  • 7-10 Years Experience working in Admin with complex tenders & Large Volume of Paperwork
  • 7 Years Administration of New Bid/Tenders (Start to Finish)
  • Analyzing the Tender Evaluation Criteria and Compliance.
  • Experience within the electricalengineering or construction industry

Required Knowledge

  • Excellent writing and proof-reading skills with an eye for detail
  • Relevant software application (MS Office Suite)
  • Legible/Neat Handwriting
  • Basic electrical engineering principles
  • Understanding of the end-to-end bid process
  • Strong document control and versioning knowledge
