Director of Cabinet Operations - Distribution

About the Role
Our client is looking for a seasoned construction leader to take charge of their Cabinet Installation division across the Southern Region. This position is responsible for driving operational excellence ensuring projects are delivered on time within budget and at the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership to regional managers and field installation teams across multiple job sites.
Develop and manage project budgets workforce plans and subcontractor resources.
Track job progress project costs and billing accuracy to ensure financial goals are met.
Partner with Sales and Operations teams to align efforts and maximize project success.
Build and maintain strong relationships with builders site superintendents and cross-functional partners.
Recruit train and mentor team members while maintaining compliance with safety and industry standards.
Travel up to 70% across the Southern Region to oversee operations support teams and resolve issues.

Qualifications

10 years of experience in residential construction or related building industry (experience with production builders preferred).
Proven track record managing installation teams budgets and project schedules.
Bachelors degree in Construction Management Business or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
Exceptional leadership problem-solving and customer service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and familiarity with manufacturing/operations software.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments juggle priorities and meet deadlines.
