The business has a 50-year history of delivering advanced storage and retrieval systems that help organisations improve efficiency and optimise workspace operations.
Role Summary
This position involves servicing maintaining and repairing automated storage systems across the South of England with occasional nationwide travel. The role offers a high degree of independence and variety supporting customers on-site and ensuring their systems run efficiently.
Some overnight stays may be required as well as occasional international travel for training.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect maintain and repair automated storage systems.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical electrical or software faults.
Conduct annual servicing and safety checks.
Support system upgrades and assist with installations.
Respond promptly to breakdowns and client call-outs.
Provide technical guidance and operational training to users.
Complete service documentation and reports accurately and on time.
Manage your own schedule and travel efficiently.
Maintain high technical standards and represent the company professionally.
Requirements
Mechanical electrical or general engineering background (qualified or experienced).
Strong technical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Full UK driving licence.
Willingness to travel regionally with some overnight stays.
Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
Professional reliable and self-motivated approach.
High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
Experience in automation materials handling or storage systems (advantageous).
