Position Summary: Building Envelope Consultant III
The Building Envelope Consultant III (BEC III) is responsible for delivering building envelope services to clients and managing various design-related tasks on assigned projects. This role requires strong communication and project coordination skills to maintain direct contact with clients or project managers. The BEC III will oversee design activities respond to RFIs conduct visual surveys and coordinate project design and quality assurance. Additionally the BEC III will be involved in marketing efforts as directed by senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate all design tasks related to assigned projects.
Maintain direct communication with clients and project managers.
Complete assigned design tasks including drawing and specification development.
Conduct and oversee testing investigations and perform forensic evaluations.
Respond to RFIs and perform visual surveys of building envelopes.
Coordinate and review work from other disciplines involved in the project.
Manage contract administration and quality assurance inspections.
Assist in marketing tasks as assigned by senior management including Regional VP Director of BE and Executive VP.

Job Requirements:

Bachelors degree in engineering or architecture with a minimum of 10 years of building envelope experience.
RA or PE license preferred
OR High School Diploma/GED with RRO certification and RRC RWC REWC or RBEC certification from the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants and 10 years of related experience.
Strong knowledge of building codes.
Proficiency in producing construction documents using ACAD and Revit.
In-depth industry knowledge of building envelope systems.
Ability to work towards obtaining a professional license IIBEC certification and other building envelope certifications.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Pre-employment drug test and background check required.
Valid drivers license required.
