Salary Band $81000 - $106000 p.a prorata Kiwisaver

About the role

Based within Te Puna Wai Ora this role facilitates Critical Care research and the associated educational requirements of the wider team for the ongoing support of implemented research activities. They will be responsible for ensuring all research activities meet legislative and clinical trial requirements.

Some of the key tasks will include:

  • Liaising with patients staff and other relevant parties
  • Assessing patient criteria for inclusion in research which may involve an on-call component via phone
  • Providing education and support to staff regarding the specifics of on-going projects
  • Maintaining trial data requirements including coordinating patient tests and appointments
  • Research data processing reporting adverse events

About you

We are looking for a systematic Registered Nurse with exceptional organisation skills who can see the big picture but is also detail focused. You will have to be a self-motivator and an excellent communicator who works well both individually and within a small team.

To succeed in this role you will need to have:

  • Current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APC with the right to work in New Zealand
  • Be available for out of hours phone support
  • Relevant experience such as working within critical care or acute nursing
  • Post graduate studies in research methods is desirable and/or commitment to work towards such qualification

Salary Range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the expired NZNO CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the RN Pay Scale between Step 2 $81683 and step 7 $106739 p.a dependant on relevant experience.
