GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Risk Management Coordinator performs a variety of complex administrative tasks related to MHMRCVs Risk Management/Safety program. Duties include a variety of facility equipment and vehicle safety inspections coordination and follow up on the completion of safety drills data entry/analysis of incident reports teaching/training for staff on risk management/safety creation of marketing/educational safety materials ordering personal protective equipment supplies and management of inventory and serves as co-chair of the Risk Management/Safety addition the Risk Management Coordinator assists the Risk Management/Safety Officer with safety planning and policies and procedures and also assists the Chief Human Resources Officer with workers compensation management.
EDUCATION TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent required. A minimum of one year experience in an administrative setting required. Must be proficient using Microsoft Office. Prefer candidates with knowledge and understanding of social services agencies. Experience in the behavioral health and intellectual & developmental disabilities field preferred.
