Job Title: Finance & Accounts Manager

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Finance & Accounts Manager to oversee and drive the financial operations of brand properties. This role is pivotal in ensuring financial health compliance and strategic growth. The ideal candidate will not only manage accounting functions but also lead funding initiatives financial planning and analysis to support expansion and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Reporting:
Prepare and present accurate monthly quarterly and annual financial statements across all properties.
Consolidate financials for management reporting and ensure timely delivery of MIS reports (P&L Balance Sheet Cash Flow KPIs).
Assist in monthly closing budgeting forecasting and variance analysis to guide strategic decision-making.
Funding & Financial Strategy:
Identify funding requirements for expansion renovations and operational needs.
Coordinate with banks investors and financial institutions for loans credit lines and funding opportunities.
Prepare financial models ROI analysis and investment proposals for new projects or strategic initiatives.
Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure optimal utilization of funds and financial sustainability.
Compliance Audit & Internal Controls:
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations including GST TDS Income Tax ROC filings and other applicable laws.
Coordinate and liaise with internal and external auditors; address audit queries efficiently.
Implement strong internal controls and risk management practices to safeguard assets.
Review regular internal audits across F&B housekeeping laundry and linen etc at properties.
Review operational processes and inventory management systems to minimize leakage wastage and fraud.
Establish departmental SOPs for finance-related processes and ensure adherence to policies.
Monitor procurement usage and stock levels of F&B housekeeping laundry and linen to ensure accuracy and accountability.
Team Leadership & Management:
Lead mentor and manage a team of accountants and finance executives across multiple locations.
Facilitate effective coordination between property managers department heads and finance teams.
Provide training and guidance on accounting standards systems compliance requirements and internal audit procedures.
Systems & Processes:
Implement and manage ERP/accounting software across properties.
Standardize accounting procedures reporting formats and workflows for operational efficiency.
Drive automation digitalization and data-driven insights to enhance financial decision-making.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong expertise in accounting finance taxation and hotel/hostel revenue management.
Hands-on experience with statutory compliance audits internal controls and operational audits.
Proficiency in accounting and hospitality software (Tally ERP Oracle Hotel PMS or similar).
Strategic thinker with strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal abilities.
Qualifications & Experience:
Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification.
3-5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting preferably in hospitality.
Proven experience managing multi-property accounting operations and financial strategy.
Experience in funding investment analysis financial planning and internal audits for operational departments.
